Teaching is a Circus Full
of Fun :-)
All aboard the Teacher Express is the title of my new Teacher's
Resource Pages.  This is very new and I plan to continue working on it
each week adding new ideas and activities.  I hope that you are able to
find some activities, lesson plans and other useful teaching tools among
the pages.  Remember that I have taught 4th and 5th for many years
and most of my activities are focused on this age group.  In the future I
plan to add Science content for all age groups, so check back often.
Thanks for stopping by.
Why God created teachers
Author unknown

When God created teachers,
He gave us special friends
To help us understand His
world
And truly comprehend
The beauty and the wonder
Of everything we see,
And become a better person
With each discovery.

When God created teachers,
He gave us special guides
To show us ways in which to
grow
So we can all decide
How to live and how to do
What's right instead of wrong,
To lead us so that we can lead
And learn how to be strong.

Why God created teachers,
In His wisdom and His grace,
Was to help us learn to make
our world
A better, wiser place.
Children Learn What They Live
By Dorothy Law Nolte, Ph.D.

If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.
If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive.
If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.
If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy.
If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy.
If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.
If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.
If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.
If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal.
If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.
If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.
If children live with fairness, they learn justice.
If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them.
If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.
